Solway's Task Scheduler is a freeware utility program for Windows. It is a software that allows us to easily schedule our tasks. The tasks can widely range from simple to advance tasks. It is possible to set up a daily alarm, set reminders for appointments, meetings, special events and so on. We are also allowed to schedule program startup, for example, when an anti-virus scan will start as well as other maintenance applications such as defrag, backup, etc. From its user-friendly interface, we can easily write the name of the task, and file to open or execute it. We can set up or edit a task quite easily by selecting the items from the options provided. The task can take place on the system startup, at a given period (only once, weekly, daily, every 5 minutes, etc.), at start date and time, from Monday to Sunday or any other possibility, and excluding specified holidays (if needed). The program installs itself for instant access as a clock icon in the system tray. Solway's Task Scheduler runs under Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, NT, ME, 98, and 95 operating systems.
